The Georgia Association for Women in Higher Education is proud to introduce our inaugural awards program, designed to honor the remarkable achievements of our members. These awards recognize women who embody leadership, mentorship, innovation, and dedication to advancing higher education across Georgia.

This year, we are excited to announce two new honors — the Trailblazer Award and the Mentorship Excellence Award. The Trailblazer Award celebrates women who have forged new paths and broken barriers in higher education, paving the way for others to follow. The Mentorship Excellence Award honors those who have made a profound impact through guidance, support, and empowerment of their colleagues and students.

Through this initiative, we celebrate those whose contributions strengthen our institutions, uplift our colleagues, and inspire future generations. By spotlighting excellence, we reaffirm our commitment to creating a vibrant community where women in higher education are seen, valued, and empowered to thrive.
